Shipping/Delivery and Creative Process

Shipping/Delivery:  Local orders are available for pickup or delivery at an agreed upon location. Deliveries outside of McKinney will include a trip charge to be paid by the customer.  Non local orders will be shipped via FedEx, USPS, or UPS. Customers are responsible for shipping costs.  Tracking information will be provided upon your request.

Processing Time:  All orders are custom made and are created in the order received once the payment has cleared.  Processing time is 3 to 5 business days for planners and journals and 1 to 2 days for greeting cards.  Shipping time is in addition to processing time and will vary based on the courier used.

Invitation Process:

Initial Consultation: Your experience will start with an initial consultation. During this time I will become acquainted with your needs and discuss what you are looking for in your invitations. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. I have catalogs to browse. Invitations can be chosen from the catalogs or designed specifically tailored to your event. Be prepared to discuss color choices, sizes, styles, etc.

Pre-Design Process: Upon request a sample invitation will be designed. The sample can be emailed in PDF form or delivered in person. At this time feedback is requested from the customer. If there are no changes to be made, a quote is given.

Deposit and Contract: Once the customer decides to choose CourDiva’s as their invitation designer a contract is provided and signed. A 50% deposit is required at this time. The accepted methods of payment are Cash, PayPal, and Zelle. Please note if paying by PayPal an additional fee of 3.2% will be charged to cover the cost of using this service. The process will not begin until the payment has cleared.

Design Process: Once the signed contract and deposit are received supplies are ordered. An initial invitation will be created for proofing. At this time feedback or changes are required from the customer. If there are no changes to be made the proof is signed. I ask that you carefully review the proof for spelling, grammatical errors and any final changes you may want to make to the invitation. A signature on a proof indicates that there are no changes to be made and that you have approved all text, illustrations, colors, and production can begin.

Production: At this point final approval has been received and the final balance of the project is now due. Once final payment has been received I will print and assemble your invitations. Changes made at this point will result in additional charges being incurred.
